Bulk updating descriptive lease information

Overview

EZLease allows users to make bulk updates to any descriptive fields on a lease record (e.g. Asset class, user-defined fields, account numbers, etc.). Any changes that are made via bulk update, will be shown for the entire life of the lease (i.e. the full lease term).

Note: Financial information [like interest rates, economic life, cannot be updated in bulk.

Bulk updating your leases

Step Action

1

Download the EZLease lessee bulk import template: Bulk Import Templates

2

From within EZLease, run a listing report in spreadsheet output, for all leases

3

Copy and paste your lease numbers from the listing report to the bulk import template (column A, starting on row 2)

4

On the bulk template, type "Yes" in column B ("Change")

5

Starting in column AF (Lease description), add the correct descriptive value(s) (you can copy and paste from the listing report, if some values aren't changing)

Note:

You only need to enter values into fields that need to be updated. Blank fields will not overwrite current descriptive information.

If you're updating a User-defined field that is set up as a list, you'll need to make sure there are no blanks, and all values that you enter must first be in your UDF list, in System Options)
